We’re looking for a Software Engineer – Test Automation to: We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automated testing frameworks for our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, a deep understanding of automation tools, and the ability to collaborate with development teams to ensure the quality and performance of our products. Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks that are scalable, reusable, and robust. analyze, design, and write test cases based on the requirements design and develop test automation scripts based on our test automation framework collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure E2E automation and develop sustainable solutions continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize testing, integration and delivery efficiency identify and report defects, and work with the development team to resolve them previously held a testing role, for ideally 5+ years preferably within the finance sector having a hands-on experience in working with BDD Cucumber framework for 3-5 years Having hands on experience in TAFF & Selenium for 2-3 years proven delivery of performing functional testing to assess for accuracy, suitability, & functionality able to perform regression testing for projects who can work with the existing automation framework & automate the functional test cases Who Has a Prior Experience Of Agile Working Your team In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Banking & Employee Compliance team in Pune focusing on Test Automation. As an experience test automation engineer, you'll be part of our Agile team in Pune and working closely with the developers and likeminded test engineers. Your expertise Proven track record as an IT Test Automation Engineer 5+ years of professional experience with test automation strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies experience with Java, JavaScript, Cucumber, Maven, Git, GitLab pipeline, Selenium, TAFF experience working with cross-functional agile teams ability to accomplish complex engineering tasks independently analytical and problem-solving skills to cope with complex challenges in software engineering knowledge of Agile methodologies, continuous integration and continuous delivery positive attitude and a great interest in shaping the future of technology in banking strong written and verbal communication skills in English review code and scripts written by peers to ensure quality and adherence to best practices. continuously refine and improve test automation scripts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. maintain detailed documentation of test scripts, frameworks, and processes to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing You should be a strong team player and a good listener self-organized and can pro-actively time manage your workload goal-oriented and proactive familiar with major test management and automation tools good knowledge of devops and CI/CD pipeline, using gitlab. experience with Performance testing tool like Loadrunner About Us UBS is the world’s largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
