Job Title: Assistant Manager- Tender Department: Marketing Reports to: HOD Marketing Position type: Permanent Grade/CTC: 9-12 LPA Job Location: Ambernath, Thane (MH) Education: Diploma/BE / B.Tech /M. Tech- Mechanical Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of Tendering experience with Rolling Stock Equipment Manufacturer (Railways) or Electric Motor Manufacturing Industry. Duties/Responsibilities: Prepare techno-commercial proposals, bids, and cost estimates for railway projects. Conduct thorough analysis of tender documents to identify scope of work, timelines, and budget requirements. Develop detailed project reports including technical specifications, drawings, and documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful tender preparation and submission. Provide expert advice on government tenders, e-tendering processes, and IREPS compliance. To coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in relation to tendering/bidding activities, tender questionnaires and pre-qualifications; To organize and harness the efforts of all involved departments relating to tendering/bidding activities and contract review; To coordinate customers bid requirements within the various departments such as planning, QA/QC, HSE, Engineering, Production, etc., collate and compile all queries and requests for additional information for communication to customers; To vet through incoming tenders and to note down tender due date, project start and end date, tender submission instructions/requirement and mode of submission; To collate tender information and references from various sources such as online search engines, industry and market intelligence data etc., which are needed for submission; To monitor and ensure that tender submission due dates are strictly adhered to, including the checking, binding, packing and preparation of outgoing submissions; To ensure that tender submissions are standardized in terms of format, font, logo, etc. and in line with customers tender requirements Skills to have: Familiar with Tendering Process and with prior experience Familiar with techno-commercial bids & tenders in rolling stock equipment manufacturing industry. Should have experience in using portals - IREPS - Gem, etc Competencies Required: On-line Collection of the tender opening results and record them for future reference.
