INTRODUCTION:

Headstart is a CRM for educational institutions. A CRM streamlines processes and improves communication, making interactions with prospective students more personal and efficient. With all data in one place, administrators can make better decisions about enrolling students and marketing strategies. Automation takes care of repetitive tasks, freeing up staff to focus on building real connections with students. Using CRM, educational institutions create smoother enrollment experiences, leading to happier students and stronger relationships.  



We are looking for an efficient Technical Lead to be a part of Headstart. As a good tech lead, you will be responsible for the smooth functioning of all technical operations. You will be coordinating with the client and client managers to understand the business requirements and suggesting the best possible solutions, and ensuring the timely delivery of approved solutions. The tech lead role also requires you to analyze all aspects, starting from documentation, design, code, security, and retention of team members, and reporting on the same to the management. Being the core member of the company, you are supposed to have an entrepreneurial mindset and ownership to deliver. 



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience of the following tech stacks:

Back End – FastAPI, MongoDB, Python, PGSQL

Front End – React Js

DevOps– CI/CD, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Linux servers, Azure, Redis


  • Writing the optimized codes and ensuring that the team is also doing the same.


  • Supervising DevOps, servers, and AI development-related work and keeping everything in sync.


  • Determining requirements and developing work schedules for the team.


  • Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.


  • Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure work is delivered on time.


  • Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.


  • Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.


  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.


  • Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track changes to the codebase


  • Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required.


  • Motivating the team and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.


  • Monitor front-end performance and implement optimizations to ensure fast loading times and a smooth user experience.


  • Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes. 


  • Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.


TECHNICAL LEAD REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.


  • Minimum 8 years of total experience and at least 3 years in a similar role (team lead).


  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.


  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.


  • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
