Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management

• Automate provisioning and configuration of Azure resources using

  ARM Templates

  ,

  Bicep

  , or

  Terraform.

• Manage compute workloads via

  Azure

  VMs

  ,

  VM Scale Sets

  , and

  Availability Sets.

• Architect and implement scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective solutions on Azure.

Cloud Security & Compliance

• Implement and enforce security best practices using

  Azure Key Vault

  ,

  RBAC

  ,

  Azure Policies

  , and

  Defender for Cloud.

• Regularly audit resources for compliance and apply security patches.

CI/CD Automation

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using

  Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines)

  or

  GitHub Actions

• Support deployment strategies including

  Blue/Green

  and

  Canary deployments

  using

  App Service Slots

  or

  AKS.

Linux Administration

• Administer and troubleshoot

  Linux-based workloads

Containerization & Orchestration

• Develop and maintain containerized workloads using

  Docker

  and

  Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Manage container registries with Azure Container Registry (ACR) and deploy via Helm or YAML manifests.

Monitoring & Optimization

• Monitor resource utilization and application health using

  Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.

• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with engineering, QA, and product teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
• Provide guidance on infrastructure design patterns, automation strategies, and DevOps practices.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years hands-on experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Azure services:

  VMs, Blob Storage, ACR, AKS, App Services, DevOps Pipelines.

• Proficiency with

  Infrastructure as Code

  tools like

  Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.

• Experience with

  Linux system administration.

• Knowledge of

  networking, DNS, firewalls, NSGs

  , and security principles.
• Hands-on with

  Docker

  ,

  Kubernetes

  , and

  Git.

• Solid scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
• Familiarity with

  Agile/Scrum
