Job Description

Job Summary:

Drive growth by identifying, developing, and closing technical sales opportunities for ETP/Waste Water treatment systems. Own the end-to-end sales process—from lead generation and technical proposal through negotiation, project handoff, and after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & BD
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue targets for ETP/Waste Water projects Identify and qualify new opportunities across industries (manufacturing, pharma, chemicals, municipal, etc.).
  • Technical Engagement
  • Present technical solutions and customize proposals based on client needs, collaborating with design and engineering teams
  • Demonstrate ETP-specific technologies (e.g., physico-chemical treatment, aerobic/anaerobic, RO/UF, MBBR/SBR/MBBR for STP).
  • Proposal & Negotiation
  • Prepare comprehensive techno-commercial proposals; lead pricing discussions and contract negotiations
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure proposals meet technical feasibility, profitability, and delivery timelines.
  • Client Collaboration
  • Build strong relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, municipal authorities, and industrial clients
  • Conduct on-site visits, assessments, and feasibility studies.
  • Project Coordination
  • Support project handover and maintain engagement through installation, commissioning, and operation support.
  • Market Insight & Reporting
  • Track competitor offerings, industry trends, and regulatory updates.
  • Maintain CRM and submit weekly/monthly sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
  • Travel
  • Willing to travel extensively for client meetings, trade shows, and plant visits

Qualifications:

  • Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Environmental, Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 3–7 years in technical sales within ETP/Water/Waste Water/Environmental sectors.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and closing medium-to-large industrial or municipal projects.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Solid grasp of ETP technologies: physico-chemical, biological systems, membrane separation, etc.
  • B2B technical sales experience and solution-selling acumen
  • Strong negotiation, proposal-writing, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient understanding of project management and tendering processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities, and client-facing experience.
  • Comfortable with extensive travel and independent fieldwork.

Pay: ₹22,354.26 - ₹33,381.71 per month
