Job Summary:

A Technical Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for technical products/services.
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, and customer referrals.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals successfully.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth.

2. Technical Consultation & Solution Selling:

  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions.
  • Work with R&D and engineering teams to provide

    customized solutions

    to clients.
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting technical issues related to the product.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Address customer concerns and provide timely solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop long-term partnerships to ensure repeat business and referrals.

4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for business expansion.

5. Reporting & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline reports, and customer data.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Prepare periodic reports on sales performance and market insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field) or a Business degree with technical experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience

    in technical sales, solution selling, or business development.
  • Strong knowledge of [Industry/Technology/Product relevant to the role].
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them to customers.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B technical sales or industrial product sales.
