Job Description

The Technical Project Manager at Eternal Robotics will be responsible for overseeing project execution, new product development, and establishing the technology direction for robotics product development. The role requires prior experience in embedded systems development, testing, deployment, and production. The candidate should have strong project management skills, familiarity with relevant tools and methodologies, and the ability to drive innovation and effectively communicate with stakeholders. Responsibilities: Project Management: Develop and execute project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate cross-functional teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. Utilize project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to foster efficient collaboration and iterative development. Implement project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) for task tracking, progress monitoring, and reporting. New Product Development (NPD) Execution: Lead the successful execution of new product development initiatives, from concept to market launch. Conduct market research, gather customer insights, and define product requirements. Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to translate requirements into product specifications. Implement stage-gate processes to ensure disciplined and efficient product development. Embedded Systems Development and Deployment: Oversee embedded systems development, testing, deployment, and production processes. Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of embedded systems components. Define testing methodologies and lead validation efforts for embedded systems functionality and performance. Technology Direction: Establish and drive the technology direction for robotics product development. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in embedded systems and robotics. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement. Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders, including customers, executives, and cross-functional teams, to understand requirements and expectations. Ensure effective communication and collaboration, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and achievements. Manage stakeholder feedback, incorporating it into the project planning and decision-making processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a technical project manager, with expertise in embedded systems development, testing, and deployment. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana). Familiarity with new product development processes, including stage-gate frameworks. Knowledge of robotics technologies, including computer vision, ROS, and mobile robotics. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Relevant Tools and Methodologies Exposure: Embedded systems development tools (e.g., C/C++, Python, IDEs, debuggers) Project management tools: Jira, Asana, Trello Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) Stage-gate frameworks for new product development Robotics frameworks and platforms (e.g., ROS, Gazebo) Key Result Areas (KRAs): Project Planning and Execution New Product Development (NPD) Success Embedded Systems Development and Deployment Technology Direction and Innovation Stakeholder Management and Communication Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): On-time delivery of project milestones.
