Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to oversee the end-to-end operations, technology management, and optimization of our Biochar and Biofuel Production processes. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience and deep knowledge of machinery and systems involved in the production of biochar, bioethanol, biomethanol, biodiesel, and green hydrogen. This is a leadership role requiring technical expertise, process improvement capability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead end-to-end project execution

   for biochar and advanced biofuel production (bioethanol, biomethanol, biodiesel, green hydrogen), including planning, commissioning, start-up, and operational ramp-up of integrated systems.

2. Oversee production operations

   across all technologies—pyrolysis, fermentation, distillation, transesterification, and hydrogen generation—ensuring machinery is operated, maintained, and optimized for maximum performance.

3. Drive process efficiency and cost optimization

   by identifying improvement opportunities in energy use, yield enhancement, and material handling, incorporating advanced process control strategies and heat integration techniques.

4. Manage technical teams

   by providing hands-on training, operational guidance, and troubleshooting support, fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability.

5. Ensure regulatory and safety compliance

   , implementing ISO, HAZOP, and environment-specific norms across all production units while maintaining a strong EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) culture.

6. Collaborate cross-functionally

   with R&D, supply chain, and engineering departments to integrate new technologies and streamline scale-up of production lines.

7. Evaluate and upgrade equipment and systems

   through vendor coordination, procurement planning, and implementation of IoT-enabled SCADA/PLC systems for real-time process monitoring and data analytics.

8. Establish and manage preventive maintenance programs

   , coordinate spare parts inventory, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues proactively.

9. Stay abreast of industry innovations

   in bioenergy technology, equipment advancements, and market trends to keep the production process future-ready and competitive.

10. Develop and maintain technical documentation

    , including SOPs, operational reports, and regulatory compliance records to support internal governance and audits.

Preferred Experience, Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience in

  scaling bioenergy projects

  from pilot to commercial-level production, with a strong understanding of process scale-up challenges and solutions.
• Working knowledge of
