Role Overview


Technical Manager



Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the end-to-end development of scalable, secure, and maintainable web-based products and features.
  • Manage and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.
  • Engage directly with customers to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Take ownership of software architecture, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
  • Drive sprint planning, release management, and ensure high code quality through best practices.
  • Stay hands-on with development tasks and unblock team members when required.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Product, QA, Support, and DevOps teams.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Continuously explore and adopt new technologies to improve system architecture and team productivity.



Technical Skills & Experience


  • Languages & Frameworks

    :
  • Strong experience in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React.js, SQL, and MongoDB.
  • Exposure to Devops in Azure is highly preferred.
  • Experience with 

    Java

     is a plus.
  • Frontend

    : Proficient in building rich UIs using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Backend

    : Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and asynchronous processing.
  • Database

    : Experience in schema design and query optimization in SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Architecture & Design

    : Strong experience in designing scalable, performant systems.
  • DevOps & Deployment

    : Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
  • Agile Development

    : Well-versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership capabilities.
  • Passion for clean code, architecture, and software craftsmanship.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working in a product-based company is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects and leading technical teams.
