Technical Manager

Job description

As a Manager of Software Development, this role will lead one or more technology teams building a world-class solutions, collaborating closely with Product leadership, you will drive customer success in an expanding and rapidly growing area

This is a technical hands-on front line management position, primarily responsible for application development and project delivery

This is a player - coach role, which encompasses technical/ functional expertise, have deep understanding on Project Management skills with Agile delivery model and SDLC lifecycle

This Application development manager position includes overseeing technical analysis, modern web development, API Gateway, Developer Portal experience, Design, Development, Testing, product quality assurance, Secure coding practices throughout the entire software development life cycle

The ideal candidate :

5-10 years of technical management experience in software development preferably using MERN stack or PHP Laravel stack

Must have proven experience in managing teams of at least 10 to15 resources

Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills

Strong coding, debugging, testing, algorithm design, and problem-solving skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent practical experience

Programming experience with at least one modern language such as NodeJS, Javascript, or PHP LAravel including object-oriented design

Strong knowledge of solution architecture

Strong experience of working with SQL & NOSQL

Knowledge & practical experience of Agile methodology (i.e. SCRUM etc)

Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
