Position Summary
We are seeking a Technical Lead to join our client Engineering team. In this role, you will architect and build complex, reliable, high-throughput application operations while mentoring a team of software engineers. You will remain hands-on with code, set technical standards, enforce best practices, and contribute to the design and implementation of new product features.
Key Responsibilities
- The person will lead the Scrum team to break down Epics into Stories and Stories into Developer Tasks.
- The person will design and implement complex functionality, automation, and data persistence tasks.
- The person will conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- The person will validate and test code changes in QA environments to ensure quality and reliability.
- The person will collaborate with Support teams to resolve customer escalations and troubleshoot performance issues.
- The person will work closely with Product Managers to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.
- The person will develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to evaluate and deliver new features.
- The person should ensure adherence to architectural standards and contribute to continuous improvement of best practices.
- The person should take full ownership of delivering high-quality solutions within agreed timelines.
- The person should identify opportunities to improve team processes, performance, and delivery outcomes
Mandatory Skills
- 8+ years in a SaaS or product-based software company.
- Strong object-oriented programming experience (Java)
- 3+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role.
- Experience with TypeScript frameworks.
- Hands-on with testing tools (JUnit, Cypress, etc.).
- Strong ability to break down complex business problems into multi-component solutions.
- Proven experience in environments with customer-visible use cases.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
- Collaboration & Communication Excellent communication skills (written and verbal, English).
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with distributed teams across multiple time zones. Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Product companies preferred.
