Technical Lead - Java

As a Technical Lead in Java for a Healthcare/Lifesciences company, you will play a crucial role in developing high-performing, scalable, cloud applications for the industry. Your expertise in Java technologies and experience in building microservices will be valuable in leading and mentoring a team of junior software engineers. Your key responsibility will be to identify and analyze user requirements, develop high-quality designs, write efficient code, conduct unit testing, prioritize tasks, and schedule product releases with internal teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify and analyze user requirements - Develop high-quality and detailed designs - Write well-designed, efficient code and ensure compliance to code quality metrics - Conduct unit testing using automated unit test frameworks - Prioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the development sprints - Identify risks and conduct mitigation action planning - Review, test, debug team members" code and provide feedback - Schedule product releases with internal teams - Document development phases **Qualifications Required:** - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred - 6-10 years of relevant work experience with a sound knowledge of Java technologies - 3+ years of experience in building microservices using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Docker - Hands-on experience in Angular 2+ framework/UI development (preferred) - Good experience in API gateway like Apigee (preferred) - Strong in Core Java (Collections, Threads, Regular Expressions, Exception handling) - Good knowledge of coding standards, design patterns, unit testing - Knowledge of TDD and CI/CD practices - Exposure to JMS environment and experience in Rabbit MQ / Active MQ / Kafka - Knowledge of relational databases, Oracle or PostgreSQL database (preferred) - Strong background in delivering projects with zero defects in Production - Oracle Java Professional Certification (a plus) - Analytical, problem-solving ability, verbal and written communication skills - Desire to work in an Agile environment - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Please send your resumes to careers@vitrana.com with the Job Code Q1202205 to apply for this position.,
