We are looking for a Technical Executive with Marine Industry experience Job Title: Technical Executive Location: Mumbai, India 1+ Year Contract Industry: Marine / Shipping / Maritime Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Executive with a background in the marine industry and at least 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical understanding of marine operations, excellent documentation/reporting skills, and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel to support presentations, data analysis, and reporting tasks. Key Responsibilities: Support technical documentation, analysis, and coordination of marine operations. Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations using MS Excel and PowerPoint. Coordinate with internal teams for maintenance schedules, spares tracking, and vessel performance updates. Assist in preparing technical proposals and project documentation. Analyze vessel performance data and present actionable insights. Maintain accurate records of technical activities and assist in audits and compliance. Liaise with vendors and service providers as needed. Support procurement team with technical specifications and documentation. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (mandatory) – preferably in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field. 2+ years of experience in the marine/shipping/offshore industry. Strong command over MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Charts) and PowerPoint (presentations, animations, formatting). Good understanding of vessel operations, technical systems, or ship maintenance processes. Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Preferred Skills: Experience working with fleet management systems or marine ERP tools. Knowledge of international marine safety and compliance standards.
