Job Description

Job responsibility

  • Monitor network links and services for Carrier customer using NMS tools.
  • Manage own Network and partners for fault resolution and performance issues.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve service disruptions across multiple platforms
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance protocols to uphold service standards.
  • Troubleshoot service disruptions, log incidents, and drive resolution within defined SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure timely escalation of major issues.
  • Maintain documentation for incidents, outages, and resolution steps.
  • Support change management and planned maintenance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to service quality and uptime commitments.
  • Interface with carrier customers and for service-level updates and escalations.
  • Assist in provisioning, testing, and commissioning of new links and services
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Necessary Preferred

Skills

Good understanding of TX and IP networking, routing, switching, and data center infrastructureExperience with Voice over IP (VoIP) and SMS technologies.Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent.Familiarity with incident management frameworks like ITILExperience with monitoring tools (e.g. Zabbix).Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy)

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Overall Work Experience

7 to8 Years in service delivery & assurance
