Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    End to end responsible for evaluation of the projects in terms of Scope, Risk, financials etc. along with preparation of Techno-commercial bid submission and formulation of strategy, coordination with stakeholders (internal and external) and hand over to operational team, performance review.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    • Detailed review and analysis of projects • Preparation of pre bid queries in line with our internal strategy for the project and participation in the various bid/tender related meetings with clients • Interaction with client to understand their operational requirement and suggest solutions while keeping organizational benefit in mind • Coordination with various stakeholders (internal and external) for timely preparation and submission of techno-commercial proposal/Bids. • Analyze business and industry trends, competitor position and suggest pricing strategy for bid to win. • Liaison with client and other external stakeholders • Negotiation with client/external stakeholders • Responsible for project success in terms of timely award of the contract and preparation of documentation post award of the contract • Post award of Project – handover of project to the operational and technical teams. Make them understand the project requirement for successful implementation • Preparation of Project reports, MIS for various stake holders (including for internal approvals) • Market research – exploring new territories, new and diversified projects. • Assist in preparation of Long-term Business Plan in line with the objectives of the Company. • Competition – Market research on competition – Keeping track on their strategy, fleet, contracts and expansion plans. • Technical review of Specifications of the Vessels • Representation to clients in commercial matters with respect to contracts during the contract tenure • Assist in Commercial and Technical diligence for M&A transactions • Assist operational team regarding commercial understanding during the contract execution • Help legal team in preparation of various contracts with respect to commercial understanding

Qualifications and Experience


    Education Qualification: • Graduation (Engineer/BE Mechanical preferred) • MBA (Finance/Marketing) Work Experience (Range of years): - General Experience: Good understanding / Experience in Financial analysis/Financial Modelling is essential - Technical Experience: Experience in analysis of Tender/Bids/contracts and their submissions is preferred.
