Job Purpose:

Team Member - Business Development oversees the entire business development function, identifying emerging markets, driving sales, and implementing marketing strategies. Manages high-level client relationships, strategic planning, and risk assessment. Ensures seamless project handovers, brand positioning, and leads a culture of excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

Market Research:

  • Analyzes markets to spot emerging opportunities and competitive trends.

Proposal Handling

  • Drafts proposals, builds Excel financial models, and manages proposal processes.

Sales And Marketing

  • Supports in boosting sales, devising marketing strategies with a tech and eco-focus, and setting revenue targets.

Project Management

  • Assesses project potential for strategic planning purposes.

Bid Strategies

  • Creates plans for competitive bid submissions to maximize revenue and market share.

Risk Oversight

  • Prepares project reports with risk assessments for stakeholder benefit.

Digital Mindset

  • Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience (Range Of Years)

  • 5-10 years of extensive experience in the shipping/maritime industry
