2.About GSS

Global Spares Supply (GSS) provides all the spares, tools and field support that are needed to perform maintenance that exceeds our customers' expectations. Cost-effectively and on time. 

  • Quality spare parts for elevators, escalators and automatic building doors
  • KONE parts, commercial parts, strategic parts, competitor parts (non-KONE)
  • Tools, personal protective equipment (PPE) and working clothes
3.Why this role?

We are seeking this role to provide comprehensive support in managing the end-to-end order lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders. This role combines strong organizational skills with both the internal and external customers to drive operational efficiency, maintain order data accuracy, and deliver seamless order fulfillment across global operations.

4.What will you be doing?
  • Manage end-to-end order management process, ensuring smooth workflow from order receipt to delivery and invoicing.
  • Effectively address and resolve any order-related issues or complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction and foster strong customer relationships.
  • Liaise with suppliers to monitor material availability and coordinate with the logistics team to guarantee timely deliveries.
  • Manage order backlogs proactively, communicating any changes or delays to internal stakeholders and proposing alternatives to minimize escalations caused by shipping delays.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs reports to track the performance of order management and support continuous improvement actions.
  • Strive for operational excellence by leading initiatives to identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements in order management workflows and fulfillment processes.
  • Managing relationships with external customers and distributors to drive sales growth and enhance business performance.
5.Required Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge on SAP related to SD and MM modules.
  • Know-How on Trade Compliance and Global Import/Export clauses.
  • Basic hands-on experience with SCM processes and tools (Purchasing, Inventory Planning, Replenishment).
  • Better understanding of material master and customer data management.
  • Stakeholder collaboration
6.Preferred Skills:
  • Process automation tools: MS Excel Macros, SQL, Power BI, RPA
  • Lean Six Sigma and Quality tools would be an asset
  • Supply chain certifications would be great but not mandatory.
7.Are you the one?
  • BE in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • 11+ years of experience in Supply chain, Order management, Sales & Operations.
  • Expected managerial experience 2-3 years
  • Good knowledge of SAP and understanding of Import/Export & Customs would be desirable.
  • Experience with order handling, CRM and quotation solutions.
  • Proactive, innovative thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Comfortable working across cultures and time zones in a virtual environment
