As an Accounts Executive at Aswatha Creations Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the finance team in preparing reports, managing accounts, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the company's financial operations.
o Generate and issue invoices to clients accurately and on time.
o Track and follow up on outstanding payments and manage client accounts.
o Process supplier and vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments.
o Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
o Monitor and record incoming payments, ensuring timely collection.
o Reconcile customer accounts and prepare statements for clients.
o Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
o Identify discrepancies and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
o Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
o Support the finance team in preparing budgets and forecasts.
o Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory taxes.
o Maintain accurate records for tax audits and assist with tax-related queries.
o Process employee payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws.
o Manage payroll deductions, benefits, and other related financial tasks.
o Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data and documentation.
o Ensure compliance with audit requirements and implement corrective actions if needed.
o Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
o Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions and maintain backups.
o Stay updated on financial regulations and ensures compliance with all relevant laws.
o Adhere to internal financial policies and procedures.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial data accurately.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidentiality: Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
• Accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Timeliness of invoicing, payments, and tax filings.
• Efficiency in handling accounts payable and receivable.
• Compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
