Background:
The Global Trade Advisory practice helps clients navigate the complex maze of import and export rules, manage compliance risks, automate global trade processes, and pursue potential duty savings opportunities associated with the production, import, and export of goods around the world.A project management oversight role is needed within the GTA, given it is one of the fastest growing portfolio offerings in the firm and their services are highly in demand. This will help reduce the administrative and risk items that are taking GTA personnel out of the marketplace or impact the speed at which we can deliver to ClientsOperations
- Track and manage workflow, deadlines, and notices across all client engagements; flag and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor client SLAs/SLEs, set up distribution lists and WBS codes, and ensure accurate billing for all engagement activities.
- Monitor budget-to-actuals, burn rates, and assist with EAC analysis.
- Coordinate revenue updates, including change orders and out-of-scope items, in Beacon in collaboration with EFAs.
- Monitor/manage invoicing (including working with EFA’s to set up billing schedules/reviewing/submitting bills) and helping ensure timely billing.
- Handle WBS renewals for recurring projects.
- Manage project closure activities, including Archive It and coordinating final billing and close-out tasks with EFAs.
- Monitoring non-GTA team member time to codes, as applicable.
Client Data
- Coordinate with clients and engagement teams to resolve data issues, track client submissions, and support filing deadlines.
- Create and update Jupiter records.
- Coordinate and submit SRM requests, including verifying records in DESC and creating SRMs.
- Support CP3 pricing model requests and assist with drafting in the CP3 Pricing Tool, collaborating with the EFA team to set up standard pricing models for various engagement types.
Client Management and Documentation
- Support new client acceptance/setup (CP3), conflict checks, and engagement approvals.
- Manage new engagement approvals in CP3, including inbound IWRFs.
- Document and update group processes, maintain a GTA process repository, and support client transitions.
- Coordinate revenue updates, including change orders/out of scope for updates in Beacon (Co-ordinate EFAs).
- Manage Tasks with EFAs (e.g., on smaller engagements where the accounts team doesn’t have centralized EFA team).
- Coordinate and submit SRM requests, including verifying records in DESC and creating SRMs.
- Create and update Jupiter records.
Technology
- Set up and manage initial collaboration portals (e.g., Intela), including handling access and removal requests.
