Role Overview:


Technical Recruiter


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical role requirements, team goals, and culture fit
  • Source qualified candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, social platforms, and ATS
  • Conduct initial screening calls to assess technical skills, communication, and candidate fit
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with technical panels and hiring managers
  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle – from sourcing to offer closure
  • Maintain candidate data and hiring activity in the ATS and other tracking systems
  • Provide a great candidate experience through timely communication and feedback
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive candidates for critical roles
  • Stay up to date with market trends, salary benchmarks, and tech hiring best practices
  • Contribute to employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, IT, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in

    technical/IT recruitment

    (in-house or agency)
  • Hands-on experience hiring for roles such as Software Engineers, DevOps, QA, Cloud, Data Engineers, etc.
  • Strong understanding of technology stacks, programming languages, and industry trends
  • Excellent sourcing skills using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.
  • Proficiency with ATS tools and recruitment platforms
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple requirements and work in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience hiring for product-based or fast-growing tech startups
  • Familiarity with diversity hiring practices and inclusive recruitment strategies
  • Knowledge of recruitment analytics and reporting
