Job Description Summary
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a highly skilled Tableau Architect / Administrator to lead the implementation, and governance of scalable, secure, and high-performing business intelligence and analytics solutions across the enterprise. Reporting to the Director of Data Engineering & Analytics, this hands-on leadership role focuses on modernizing the data platform, guiding the adoption of emerging technologies, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, implementation, and administration of Tableau as the enterprise analytics and visualization platform.

Design and maintain Tableau Server/Cloud architecture, including environment setup, clustering, scalability, and high availability.

Administer Tableau environments: manage user access, roles, authentication (AD/SSO), and licensing.

Develop, optimize, and maintain Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and reports that deliver actionable insights, following visualization best practices.

Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into interactive dashboards, ensuring usability, performance, and alignment with KPIs.

Lead the conversion and migration of Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA) reports and dashboards into Tableau, ensuring business continuity and improved visualization standards.

rive the creation of POCs and prototypes to evaluate new Tableau features, visualization techniques, and integration with emerging data platforms.

Optimize Tableau performance by conducting system monitoring, capacity planning, tuning extracts, and query optimization.

Define and enforce governance standards for workbooks, dashboards, data sources, and certified datasets.

Collaborate with BI developers and data engineers to integrate Tableau with enterprise data sources (Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.).

Partner with Data Governance teams to ensure data lineage, metadata management, and quality in Tableau-certified data sets.

Develop and maintain reusable templates, style guides, and governance frameworks for dashboards and self-service analytics.

Conduct architectural reviews, upgrades, and platform migrations (e.g., Tableau Server Tableau Cloud).

Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure analytics solutions align with business requirements and KPIs.

Provide training and onboarding for analysts, power users, and business teams to foster self-service analytics adoption.

Implement DevOps/DataOps best practices for Tableau deployment, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

Create detailed technical documentation and promote collaboration across data engineering, BI, and analytics teams.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.

6+ years of progressive experience in BI/analytics, with at least 3+ years in Tableau administration and architecture.

Proven experience designing and managing enterprise-scale Tableau environments (On-Prem, Online, or Cloud).

Strong expertise in building advanced Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and interactive visualizations with complex calculations, parameters, and KPIs.

Strong understanding of data visualization best practices, governance, and user adoption strategies.

Proficiency with SQL and integration with enterprise data sources (Azure Synapse, Fabric, Databricks, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.).

Experience with Tableau Server/Cloud administration, including security, SSO/AD integration, licensing, and monitoring.

Hands-on expertise in performance tuning and optimization of dashboards, extracts, and live connections.

Working knowledge of DevOps/DataOps practices including Git-based workflows, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with migration from Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud or hybrid deployments.

Experience with Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA / Einstein Analytics), including converting/migrating CRMA reports and dashboards into Tableau.

Industry experience in commercial real estate, financial services, or other data-rich environments.

Familiarity with data governance and MDM solutions (Profisee, Purview, Collibra, etc.) to align Tableau with governed data sources.

Proficiency in Python or scripting languages for Tableau automation (TabCmd, Tableau REST API).

Knowledge of modern data architecture patterns such as data mesh, data fabric, or unified semantic layers.

Relevant certifications such as Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Certified Associate, or Tableau Server Certified Professional.
