JOB SUMMARY

The role described is for a System Engineer with a focus on technical support, scripting (bash), monitoring/logs reading, SQL, basic programming (JVM languages), and effective communication.

For Senior Roles, experience in Cloud technologies like AWS and Kubernetes is a plus. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving software issues, troubleshooting common problems, automating tasks with scripting, analyzing logs, and managing incidents using ticketing systems like ServiceNow and Jira. Additional skills required are continuous learning, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving abilities, time management, and multitasking in a fast-paced support environment.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilization of ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) for logging, tracking, and

• Prioritization of software-related incidents based on impact, urgency, and SLA

• Effective communication skills for explaining software-related concepts, solutions, and

• Collaboration with software developers and vendors to escalate complex software

• Documentation of software troubleshooting procedures, resolutions, and best practices

• Proactive monitoring of software performance and reliability, identifying trends, and

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to analyze log files, error messages, and system event logs to identify root causes

• Basic proficiency in programming languages.
• Knowledge of Gitlab, SSH & other CI/CD tools.
• Proficiency in SQL Queries and optimization.
• Experience with Cloud technologies like AWS etc.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.
