Sustainability Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Sustainability Analyst to strengthen our ESG and sustainability agenda. The candidate will be responsible for driving initiatives around carbon neutrality, CBAM compliance, ASI standards, ESG reporting, and Low Carbon certification, while also contributing to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and other green initiatives undertaken by the company.

The ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of global sustainability frameworks, including GRI, and should be capable of preparing sustainability reports, monitoring compliance requirements, and working closely with stakeholders to align business practices with sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct in-depth research on non-ferrous metals markets, including aluminium, copper.
2. Monitor, analyze, and report on global and regional sustainability regulations, including CBAM, ESG disclosure frameworks, and other compliance requirements.
3. Drive the company’s carbon neutrality initiatives by developing roadmaps, tracking emissions, and ensuring effective implementation of reduction strategies.
4. Manage ASI (Aluminium Stewardship Initiative) compliance, Low Carbon certification processes, and other relevant industry accreditations.
5. Prepare and publish sustainability and ESG reports in line with GRI standards.
6. Track and report progress on KPIs related to energy efficiency, emissions, waste management, and water usage.
7. Work closely with internal teams to ensure sustainability practices are integrated into operations, supply chain, and procurement.
8. Contribute to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, including social, environmental, and community engagement programs.
9. Support marketing and communications teams in presenting the company’s sustainability achievements to customers, investors, and stakeholders.
10. Benchmark industry best practices and recommend improvements to enhance the company’s sustainability performance.
11. Represent the company at sustainability forums, conferences, and external audits/assessment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
• 5 years of experience in sustainability reporting, ESG consulting, or corporate sustainability roles.
• Familiarity with CBAM, ASI standards, and low carbon certification processes is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GRI standards and ESG frameworks.
• Analytical skills with the ability to track, interpret, and report environmental and social data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills to implement sustainability initiatives.
• Passion for sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams across the organization.
