Supply Chain Executive

Urgent Openings for SCM - Executive based in Sachin GIDC.

1. Supply Planning & Procurement

• Develop and execute supply plans aligned with production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Source and manage critical raw materials and components specific to battery manufacturing.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long-term supply agreements with domestic and international suppliers.
• Mitigate supply risks related to raw material volatility, geopolitical factors, and regulatory constraints.

2. Vendor & Supplier Management

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for battery-grade materials and equipment.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, delivery, cost, and ESG compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers on continuous improvement, localization, and cost-reduction initiatives.

3. Production Planning & Inventory Control

• Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to align material availability with manufacturing plans.
• Optimize inventory levels (RM, WIP, FG) to balance working capital and service levels.
• Implement MRP/ERP systems for accurate planning and real-time visibility.

4. Logistics & Distribution

• Manage inbound logistics for hazardous and regulated materials.
• Oversee outbound logistics to OEMs, integrators, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations (DG, lithium battery shipping standards).

5. Cost Optimization & Performance Metrics

• Drive cost reduction through strategic sourcing, process improvements, and waste reduction.
• Track and report key supply chain KPIs (OTIF, inventory turns, supplier OTIF, cost savings).
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

6. Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to battery industry standards (ISO, IATF, UN38.3, REACH, RoHS, etc.).
• Support audits related to quality, safety, and sustainability.
• Promote safe handling, storage, and transportation of battery materials.

7. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and Sales teams.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) and scale-up of new battery technologies.
• Contribute to sustainability and circular economy initiatives (recycling, second-life batteries).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
