Job Overview

As a Senior Stores Manager at BHSEL, you will oversee and optimize all store operations, ensuring accurate inventory control and efficient supply chain management. This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, requiring 7-10 years of relevant work experience in a similar environment within the Manufacturing - Defense & Aerospace industry.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Proven expertise in inventory management (Mandatory skill) with a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies at all times.
  • Hands-on experience in optimizing supply chain processes including procurement, storage, and movement of goods to ensure seamless operations.
  • Strong track record in using and implementing ERP systems for efficient store operations and data integrity.
  • Demonstrated success in stock replenishment strategies that balance demand fulfillment with lean inventory principles.
  • Exceptional team leadership abilities, including supervising store staff and driving high performance across the department.
  • Expertise in handling materials safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant safety and quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple store functions with attention to deadlines and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively resolve issues related to inventory and store logistics.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring optimal stock levels and accurate inventory records are maintained at all times.
  • Implement and monitor inventory management processes, including receipts, storage, issuance, and timely stock reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and supply chain teams to forecast requirements and ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Lead and mentor store staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to build an effective team.
  • Utilize ERP systems for efficiently tracking inventory, generating reports, and maintaining high data accuracy.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for material handling, stock replenishment, and storage to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Conduct regular audits and physical stock verification to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data and analytics to optimize store operations and reduce costs.
