• Candidate must have basic degree in any stream or postgraduation in Supply chain. Certification related to Supply chain is added advantage.
• Extensive experience in supply chain optimization for manufacturing, particularly within the defense and aerospace industries.
• Proven abilities in logistics management, ensuring the streamlined movement of goods and materials across global networks.
• Advanced knowledge in inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and meet production needs seamlessly.
• Expertise in demand planning, accurately forecasting needs to align supply with business objectives and market conditions.
• Capacity for developing and maintaining robust relationships with suppliers to achieve strategic procurement goals.
• High proficiency in ERP systems to enhance operational efficiencies and integrate with existing technologies.
• Demonstrated success in cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or supply chain integrity.
• Experience with import/export operations to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and protocols.
• Prior experience in Defense & Aerospace industry is an added advantage.
• AS9100D Knowledge should be there
  

Roles And Responsibilities

• Design and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals and improve efficiency in the manufacturing process.
• Monitor supply chain performance metrics, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks to facilitate smooth operations.
• Develop and enforce policies for effective inventory management, ensuring minimal waste and maximum resource utilization.
• Lead efforts in demand planning, balancing inventory levels with anticipated demand signals and production capabilities.
• Enhance supplier relationship management practices to secure best terms and maintain quality standards.
• Oversee logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods and materials.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and process optimization, maintaining a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, effectively managing import/export operations to support the global supply chain.
