Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, achieving sales targets, maintaining store standards, and driving operational efficiency. The Store Manager plays a key leadership role in promoting company values and delivering a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities: Sales & Customer Service

• Drive store sales to meet or exceed targets
• Analyse sales figures and take action to improve performance
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints effectively
• Promote upselling and cross-selling among the team

Staff Management

• Recruit, train, and mentor store staff
• Schedule and manage shifts and daily duties
• Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback
• Conduct performance appraisals and disciplinary actions when necessary

Store Operations

• Ensure proper stock levels and inventory management
• Oversee visual merchandising and product displays
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
• Handle cash and oversee daily reconciliation and banking

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Enforce company policies and operational procedures

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Sales growth and target achievement
• Customer satisfaction scores
• Inventory accuracy and shrinkage control
• Staff productivity and retention

Work Environment:

• On-site, fast-paced retail store environment
• Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of merchandise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
