Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & P&L Management:
Develop and execute the comprehensive statewide business strategy for franchise expansion and market penetration, aligned with Senso EV's national goals.
Own the P&L for the state, responsible for achieving top-line revenue targets and managing bottom-line profitability through effective budget management and cost control.
Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets for franchise acquisition and unit sales, and be accountable for their delivery.
2. Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of Area Sales Managers and support staff.
Foster a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous learning.
Define clear KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement development plans to optimize team performance.
3. Franchise Network Expansion & Management:
Spearhead the end-to-end process of identifying, evaluating, negotiating with, and onboarding high-calibre franchise partners and distributors.
Ensure the development of a strong, sustainable, and geographically optimal network footprint across the state.
Build and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with key franchise partners, acting as an escalation point and ensuring their success and satisfaction.
4. Market Intelligence & Business Analytics:
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify new opportunities, emerging trends, competitive threats, and potential challenges.
Utilize data-driven insights to adapt strategies, capitalize on market gaps, and maintain a competitive edge.
Provide regular and comprehensive performance reports to senior management, offering strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
5. Operational Excellence & Brand Compliance:
Ensure all franchise operations within the state strictly adhere to Senso EV's brand standards, SOPs, and operational guidelines.
Oversee the training and development support provided to franchise partners, ensuring a consistent customer experience.
Champion Senso EV's mission of sustainability, ensuring it is embedded within the state's network and promotional activities.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the Marketing team to design and execute hyper-local and state-level promotional campaigns that generate leads and drive sales.
Liaise with Supply Chain, Service, and Product teams to ensure seamless operations and address state-specific requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration is preferred.
Experience: 12+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 5-7 years in a senior leadership role (such as State Head, Regional Manager) handling P&L.
Industry Background: Proven track record in automotive sales, distribution, or franchise expansion is highly preferred. Experience in EV, two-wheeler, or FMCG distribution is a strong advantage.
