Airoli, Maharashtra, IndiaThe Logistics Control Tower Analyst will serve as a central point of coordination for supply chain visibility and decision-making. This role will monitor, analyze & facilitate optimizing logistics operations across multiple channels to ensure efficient movement of goods, identify potential disruptions & implement solutions to maintain service levels while controlling costs. This role involves working with SAP Transportation & connected module/s.
Responsibilities
- Track shipments and identify exceptions or delays. Use 4Kites & other transport tracking tools to double check real-time statuses. Ensure as far as possible One-Truth & transparency on all tracked events, facts.
- Proactively be able to visualize Exceptions, Problems, along Transport supply chains & prevent Escalations & future remedial or Corrective actions – that Is, Risk Mitigation & Cost Avoidance. Act with Agility
- Develop Early-Warning systems
- Build on using Clarita AI for quicker answers / resolutions.
- Provide customers with Decision support – Choice of transport mode, Route options, etc.
- Analyze KPIs (OTIF, dwell time, cost per shipment, etc.)
- Communicate proactively with carriers / vendors, warehouses & customers. Maintain an UpToDate RACI for all contacts, Touch-points. Build Effective & Efficient Communications within Clariant. Maintain and update logistics databases and information systems internally for the Control Tower
- Prepare daily/weekly reports and dashboards as per requirements
- Build a Customer Centric & Strong Collaborative Attitude
- Monitor vendor performance on various transport related Milestones
- Participate in mandated BU, Vendor, Customer meetings
- Support root-cause analysis for incidents and move toward continuous process improvement
- Be able to adapt to Dynamic Change Requests within the Control Tower
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations or Export &/or Order Mgmt SAP experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets; Attention to Detail
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders; proficient English Written & Spoken skill.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations, procedures and documentation
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
