Sr. MIS Executive

Position: Senior MIS Executive
Location: Anandapur Main Road, EM Bypass, Kolkata, West Bengal

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior MIS Executive to lead our Management Information Systems (MIS) function. This role is instrumental in converting operational data into strategic insights that support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, technical expertise, and leadership skills to manage data systems, reporting processes, and a team of MIS professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Reporting

• Manage the complete lifecycle of data collection, validation, and analysis across departments
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and dashboards
• Present complex data in a clear and concise manner for senior leadership

Database & System Oversight

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable databases and data pipelines
• Streamline data retrieval and automate recurring reports to enhance efficiency

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Finance, HR, Sales, etc.) to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions
• Serve as a data advisor to business units, enabling data-driven decision-making

Data Integrity & Quality Assurance

• Conduct regular audits to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Identify and resolve data anomalies, gaps, or inconsistencies

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor a team of MIS Analysts, ensuring effective task allocation and performance monitoring
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the MIS function

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in MIS, Data Analytics, or a related field
• BCI certification (Rahul Jain’s course) and current residency in Kolkata are highly preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, data validation)
• Strong command of SQL and experience with relational databases
• Proven ability to analyze large datasets and communicate insights effectively
• High attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio
• Familiarity with Google Sheets, including automation and scripting
• Working knowledge of Macros, spreadsheet automation, and dashboard development
• Exposure to enterprise systems such as FMS, IMS, and PMS
• Background in the tech sector or experience in high-volume data environments
• Solid foundation in mathematics or statistics

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
