Position Summary: -

The Senior Manager – Accounts & Compliances will oversee all financial, accounting, and compliance functions of the organization. The role involves managing banking operations, audits, taxation, import/export documentation, insurance, and legal matters while ensuring adherence to statutory requirements. The incumbent will work closely with the CFO to ensure accurate financial reporting, process efficiency, and timely compliance across all business units.


Key Responsibilities: -

1. Banking

  • Dealing with Banks and NBFCs for details, documents to be provided to them as one time and routine requirements.
  • Dealing with banks regarding LC's and BG's and keeping track and execution of the same in routine.
  • Keeping a track of export and Import payments and related coordination with banks, arranging hedging facilities, Forex gain/ loss adjustments and ensuring necessary entries into books of accounts. Making payment of duty and other items related to imports.
  • Maintain a tracker of all routine requirement to be provided to banks, NBFCs, DGFT, RBI and presenting the same to CFO on monthly basis.

2. Compliances

  • Ensuring all direct and indirect compliances in place (GST, TDS, Income Tax). Ensuring timely payments, filing timely return as per due dates. Providing details to dept time to time as required to be submitted, keeping track and replying & closure of notices on timely basis. Ensuring timely assessments.
  • Ensuring Import and Export Compliances in place.
  • Ensuring all factory related compliances, labour related compliances in place.
  • Keeping a track of all secretarial compliances and completing the requirements in coordination with consultants and statutory auditor.
  • Maintaining a tracker of all the Compliances and presenting to CFO on Monthly basis.

3. Legal

  • Drafting/Vetting of Agreement/PI/PO/Supply, etc., Terms/Commercials as requested by Cross functional teams
  • Legal Issues – Handling

4. Audit

  • Coordinating with Statutory and Internal Auditor and ensure closure of Statutory and Internal audits on timely basis

5. Insurance

  • Insurance: Plant/Stocks/In-land Transit/Ocean Marine/CGL/Group Medical policies

6. Imports and Export Documentation

  • Coordinating with purchase team and ensure proper documentation for import shipments, Calculation and payment of duty and components
  • Coordination with Export team and complete documentation of all the export shipment on timely basis
  • Keeping a track of duty drawback and roadtep.
  • Ensuring all import and export related compliances in place.

7. Accounting

  • Ensuring all bank related transaction accounting and knocking off with invoices on timely basis, Reviewing routine bank reconciliation as closure of the same on weekly basis.
  • Timely accounting related to insurance.
  • Coordinating with branches and Factories for physical verification of inventory and matching the same books of accounts, keeping a track of all stores and spares booking in system do booking consumption into system in coordination with production team, keeping a track of all service-related items and booking consumption of the same in system in coordination with service team.
  • Preparation of Fixed Assets Register and Calculating Depreciation on Monthly basis and taking provision for depreciation on monthly basis and maintaining FAR register as per statutory requirement.
  • Ensuring and monitoring all monthly book closure activities, coordination with all functions and ensure timely closing of all provision into books of accounts.
  • Preparation of monthly financials and match the same with MIS results and calculate advance tax liability on quarterly basis and making payment of the same in consultation with CFO.


Qualification & Experience:

  • MBA (Finance) or equivalent postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
  • 12–15 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounts, and Compliance roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, direct and indirect taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and statutory compliances.
  • Proven experience in handling audits, banking operations, import/export documentation, and legal coordination.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional coordination and meet deadlines effectively.
