Job Description

Job Title: Senior Executive – Human Resources

Location: [Plant/Mambad Malappuram]

Department: Human Resources

Reports to: HR Manager / Head-HR

Job Overview:

The Senior Executive – HR will support and execute core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compliance, employee relations, and performance management. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, handle statutory requirements, and contribute to developing a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

Manage end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screenings, interviews, and offer rollouts.

Coordinate campus drives and walk-ins.

Prepare job descriptions and coordinate with department heads for manpower planning.

Onboarding & Induction:

Facilitate joining formalities, training programs, and company culture integration.

Ensure proper documentation, background verification, and HRMS data entry.

Payroll & Statutory Compliance:

Support timely and accurate payroll processing.

Ensure statutory deductions and filing (PF, ESI, PT, LWF, etc.).

Prepare and submit relevant statutory returns.

Employee Engagement & Relations:

Handle employee grievances, counseling, and disciplinary actions.

Organize engagement activities, employee welfare programs, and communication forums.

Performance Management:

Assist in the appraisal process, goal setting, and regular performance tracking.

Support performance improvement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.

HR Operations & Administration:

Maintain and update HRMS records.

Monitor attendance, leave management, and absentee reports.

Handle exit formalities and clearance.

Policy Implementation:

Assist in developing and communicating HR policies and procedures.

Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and compliance audits.

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

MBA/MSW/PGDM in HR or relevant field.

2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing/plant/operations.

Knowledge of labor laws, payroll, compliance, and HRMS systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking ability.

Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRMS preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
