Role Overview:

Senior Business Development Executive


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation & pipeline building

  • Research and identify potential clients (enterprises, mid-market, startups) that can benefit from Exsilio’s enterprise applications, data analytics, cloud, and design services.
  • Develop and qualify sales leads through outreach (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, events) and networking.

Sales strategy & execution

  • Define and execute sales strategies aligned with Exsilio’s growth goals, focusing on value-based selling (not just features).
  • Work with marketing to craft proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to prospective clients.
  • Lead sales negotiations, including commercial terms, scope, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with delivery and technical teams to ensure proposals are feasible, competitive, and aligned with client needs.

Account management / business expansion

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients—understand their evolving needs and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities (e.g., from design engagement to analytics services).
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients see Exsilio not just as a project supplier but as a long-term partner in their innovation journey.

Market intelligence & feedback loop

  • Stay up to date on industry trends (cloud, AI, BI, digital transformation) and competitive landscape.
  • Provide feedback to Exsilio’s leadership and product/delivery teams on market demand, pricing, and solutions.
  • Help shape Exsilio’s service roadmap by articulating client needs and market gaps.

Sales operations & reporting

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline status in CRM.
  • Report on key sales metrics (e.g., conversion rate, deal size, sales cycle length).
  • Participate in regular sales reviews and planning sessions.

Required Experience & Skills:

Experience

  • 5–6 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in technology services / software consulting / digital transformation.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value B2B & B2C deals (enterprise or mid-market level).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (technical, delivery, marketing).

Domain Knowledge

  • Understanding of software development, cloud-native applications, data analytics / BI, AI, or UX design is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to translate technical value propositions into business outcomes for clients.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), especially for C-level and senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong negotiation and deal structuring ability.
  • Strategic mindset with an ability to think long-term about client partnerships.
  • Highly organized, with strong time management and CRM discipline.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA is a plus but not required.
