Role Overview

Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping, and ledger activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, PT, and other statutory compliances.
• Manage payroll coordination and compliance.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
• Monitor cash flow statements and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial regulations.
• Identify process gaps and implement effective financial controls.
• Prepare MIS reports for management decision-making.
• Support the Accounts/Finance Head in all financial functions.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Accounting software.
• Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory laws.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA-Inter (preferred)
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in accounting and financial operations.
