Job Title: Sponsor ManagerCompany: BizDateUpLocation: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (On-site) About the RoleAre you a dynamic and driven individual with a passion for events and branding? BizDateUp is seeking a talented Sponsorship Manager to identify, acquire, and manage sponsors for our various impactful events and initiatives. This exciting role offers a unique blend of business development, client servicing, and event execution, making it a perfect opportunity for someone with strong relationship-building skills looking to make a significant impact within India's vibrant startup ecosystem. Reporting to the CGO, you will play a key role in securing the resources necessary to fuel our mission of empowering innovation. Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify & Acquire Sponsors: Proactively research and approach potential sponsors whose objectives align with our event themes and target audience profiles.Pitch & Negotiate: Develop compelling sponsorship decks and proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition. Lead negotiations to secure mutually beneficial sponsorship agreements.Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, ensuring exceptional communication and support pre, during, and post events.Sponsorship Fulfilment: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of all agreed-upon sponsorship deliverables, including branding, speaking slots, stalls, and digital exposure.Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with marketing, design, content, and event execution teams to maximize value delivery for our sponsors.Post-event Reporting: Prepare detailed performance reports and ROI presentations to showcase the impact of sponsorships and foster long-term partnerships.Market Research: Stay informed about the latest sponsorship trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and innovative engagement strategies. Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.2–5 years of proven experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or partnerships (preferably within the event industry).Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.Demonstrated strength in building and maintaining strong client relationships with a client-first approach.Proven ability to create persuasive pitch decks and sponsorship proposals.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel.Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
