Junior Sourcing _ Electronics

• Sourcing and Supplier Management:
• Assist in identifying potential suppliers for electronic components and products.
• Assist Category managers to getting quotes on time
• Help establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and transaction flow.
• Supplier and Market Research:
• Assist in researching new suppliers, technologies, and market trends for electronic components and products.
• Support in conducting market analysis to compare suppliers, pricing, and technological advancements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with internal teams, including Sourcing, Purchase, Operations understand the company’s needs and align procurement activities.
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Education:
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management
• Experience:
• 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (preferably in the electronics industry, but not mandatory).
• Exposure to sourcing or buying electronic components like semiconductors, resistors, capacitors, or circuit boards is desirable.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyse data and perform basic cost analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems or purchasing tools.
• Basic understanding of electronics products and components.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of import/export regulations, including customs procedures, trade compliance, and international shipping standards
• Establish, manage, and maintain departmental databases to support operational and analytical needs.-
• Perform keyword research and conduct data-driven search analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Cleanse and prepare data for detailed analysis and reporting.
• Handle large datasets related to imports and exports, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
  

Working Environment

• The Junior Electronics Sourcing Executive typically works in an office environment and may occasionally be required to visit suppliers, attend trade shows, or collaborate with production teams.
• The role is largely desk-based, but may require coordination across different time zones, especially if dealing with international suppliers.
