Your Impact
As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be an integral part of the Cisco Sales organization, partnering with account teams to drive technical pre-sales activities and shape the future of our customers' networks. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise, engage with key decision-makers, and play a pivotal advisory role for both clients and internal teams.
- Become the technical sales specialist for Cisco's Networking portfolio, articulating features, functions, and benefits to stakeholders from IT Managers to CTOs.
- Understand customer and partner requirements and design end-to-end Cisco networking solutions tailored to their business needs.
- Conduct online product demonstrations, answer technical questions, analyze client requirements, and develop robust technical solutions in a pre-sales environment.
- Collaborate on strategic sales initiatives, including customer outreach and channel training, to drive business growth in key regions.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with customers and partners, providing technical leadership and support throughout the sales cycle.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- 15 + years of experience in a pre-sales technical role (e.g., Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, Sales Engineer).
- Solid hands-on experience in IP routing, switching, WiFi, SD-WAN, Cyber Security, and IoT.
- Experience working with cloud services (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
- Prior experience with network programming and APIs (e.g., Python).
Preferred Qualifications
- CCIE certification (strongly preferred).
- Knowledge of the sales cycle (e.g., MEDDPICC) and a proven ability to contribute to proposals and client presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong relationship-building, resourcefulness, resilience, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
