Do you possess a hands-on approach and a proven ability to design, develop, and deploy strategic solutions? We are seeking a Software Engineer to join UBS Finance Technology who can: participate in global and strategic full life cycle projects to harmonize data analytics processes and optimize the application landscape, focusing on Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud. drive IT changes by leveraging a deep understanding of data analytics process design and implementation based on "Best Practices." demonstrate deep understanding and at least 3 end-to-end implementation experiences in data analytics solutions using Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud. preferably have knowledge around topics such as data governance, data integration, and advanced analytics. lead workshops aimed at capturing, analyzing, and documenting business cases and requirements, while building strong relationships with key stakeholders. identify and prioritize opportunities to optimize and standardize data analytics processes. challenge inconsistent processes and propose workable improvements. ensure application configuration and development initiatives are well managed and delivered on expectations, functionality, timeliness, and cost. involve in incident management processes (3rd level support) and drive continuous improvement to stabilize the environment and improve efficiency. collaborate with peers within the IT organization and across multiple business units. Your team You'll be working within UBS Finance Technology, joining a global dynamic scrum team of Business & Technical Analysts. We support local and global projects for various business units of UBS AG. Our mission: to find solutions for strategic business challenges, analyze current processes and functionalities, and implement best-in-class solutions for customers and UBS business. Your expertise minimum of 12 years of experience in data analytics engineering, including involvement in at least 3 full life cycle implementations with Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Tableau: business requirement gathering, design, build, testing, training, migration, go-live, and post-go-live support. in-depth knowledge of data analytics processes and functionalities: data visualization, data modeling, dashboard creation, and integration with various data sources. expertise in General Ledger reporting, with the ability to understand financial reporting and financial closing control domains. good knowledge of programming languages and debugging experience is beneficial. functional experience with the delivery of front-to-back solutions for data feeds across multiple applications and custom developments. excellent consulting skills to improve and harmonize existing data analytics processes across applications based on âBest Practicesâ solution design. strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to build strong relationships among the IT organization and business users across the UBS organization. knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in a Scrum Team. experience in leading, mentoring, and developing others as part of large-scale projects. good understanding of data interfaces, APIs, and data integration techniques. lead the functional design and prototype data analytics functionality for complex business requirements. understand the roadmap for data analytics solutions, including cloud-based offerings. ability to work in multi-system environments. a proactive hands-on attitude. a strong team player and communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills. capable and flexible to work in cross-functional teams and cross-cultural teams across multiple locations and time zones. capable of working independently and in a structured and methodical manner. resilient and open to new challenges in a dynamic environment. known for hitting deadlines and staying within budget.
