Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the planning and execution of renewable energy projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and deliverables, and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Oversee project procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier management
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
• Manage stakeholder communication and engagement, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness
• Conduct thorough project evaluations and post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and best practices
• Mentor and develop project team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration
  

Qualifications

• B.E./ B.Tech – Electrical/ Civil
  

Experience

• Minimum of 25 years of experience in the Renewable Energy industry
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale renewable energy projects from inception to completion
• Proven track record of successful project delivery within the renewable energy sector
  

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Renewable Energy Professional (REP) certification (preferred)

• Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities

• Expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project)
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the renewable energy sector
• Proficiency in risk management, financial analysis, and procurement processes specific to renewable energy projects
