Job Description: Service Manager Department: After-Sales Service & Support Location: Faridabad Reports To: Director About the Company: Presto Stantest Pvt. Role Overview: The Service Manager will lead the after-sales service function, ensuring seamless service operations, maximum customer satisfaction, and the continuous development of the service team. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in the industrial equipment and testing instruments domain. Key Responsibilities: Service Team Performance Management- Lead, mentor, and motivate the service team to achieve performance targets. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans. Customer Satisfaction & Relationship- Ensure prompt resolution of service-related issues. Maintain strong client relationships and enhance customer satisfaction scores. Service Planning & Execution- Develop and execute service schedules, preventive maintenance plans, and AMC commitments. Optimize service delivery timelines to minimize downtime for customers. Technical Guidance & Problem Solving-Provide advanced technical support to the team for complex service cases. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve escalated technical issues efficiently. Reporting & Documentation- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and compliance documentation. Track key service metrics (response time, resolution time, service quality). Inventory & Spare Management- Oversee spare parts inventory to ensure availability and cost efficiency. Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment. Internal Coordination & Training- Collaborate with sales, production, and R&D teams for feedback and product improvement. Plan and conduct training programs for service engineers on new products and processes. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Technical expertise in testing instruments, calibration, and maintenance. Customer-focused mindset with high communication skills. Proficiency in service management tools and MS Office. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics preferred). 10–15 years of experience in after-sales service in industrial equipment/testing instruments.
