Service Manager – Chennai (IT / OA / Telecom / Copier & AV)Location

Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our service operations in Chennai, with a special focus on IT, Office-Automation (OA), Telecom/Copier (MFD) equipment, and Audio-Visual (AV) systems. This role will be responsible for service delivery, team leadership, customer satisfaction, and business development for engineering products including copiers, conference-room AV solutions, streaming systems, and industrial control devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and support the service team for daily operations and field activities.
  • Oversee installation, service, and maintenance of MFDs/Copiers (Konica Minolta/Sharp/Toshiba).
  • Manage end-to-end Audio/Video (A/V) project design, including SOW creation, planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Serve as the key point person for deploying campus-wide A/V solutions.
  • Conduct technical evaluation, configuration, and commissioning of A/V equipment, conference room systems, CCTV, streaming solutions, IPTV, and webcasting setups.
  • Support marketing and technical promotion of engineering products such as A/V equipment, flow meters, valves, and other industrial products.
  • Work closely with sales and project teams to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
  • Ensure documentation, reporting, and compliance with service standards and processes.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor service engineers to improve skills and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in service quality and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in IT & OA, Telecom, Copier, or A/V industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Konica Minolta, Sharp, and Toshiba MFD/Copier product lines.
  • Proven expertise in A/V system engineering, conference room solutions, and video streaming technologies.
  • Experience in designing and implementing Audio/Visual conference, presentation systems, and CCTV setups.
  • Knowledge of engineering product marketing including A/V devices, flow meters, valves, and industrial equipment.
  • Strong understanding of SOW creation, project planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, customer management, and team-handling skills.

Educational Qualification

  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Communication / IT) or relevant technical field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
