Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and analytical Strategy & Planning Manager to lead marketing transformation initiatives across the organization and for key clients. This role will be central to driving business growth by aligning marketing strategy with organizational goals, creating data-led roadmaps, and ensuring consistent delivery of measurable results.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic foresight, performance marketing know-how, and transformation expertise to design scalable marketing systems, build future-proof go-to-market plans, and deliver impact for diverse clients and internal projects.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Transformation
• • Develop and implement annual and quarterly marketing transformation roadmaps for both the organization and clients.
• • Translate organizational vision into actionable strategies and KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• • Identify opportunities for digital adoption, automation, and Martech integration across client campaigns and internal processes.
• • Partner with leadership to evolve positioning, GTM strategies, and business models in line with industry trends.
Client & Internal Advisory
• • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, presenting insights, transformation ideas, and marketing performance frameworks.
• • Create customized playbooks for clients across industries, focusing on digital-first, data-driven, and consumer-centric marketing strategies.
• • Conduct workshops with client teams to align marketing objectives with sales, customer experience, and revenue outcomes.
Performance Management & KPIs
• • Define and monitor quarterly KPIs and OKRs for the organization and client accounts.
• • Establish frameworks for ROI measurement, attribution models, CAC, and LTV tracking.
• • Build dashboards with analytics teams for real-time visibility of marketing performance.
Market & Industry Insights
• • Conduct competitive benchmarking, consumer research, and trend analysis to inform decision-making.
• • Keep track of global marketing innovation, applying best practices and transformation models for client growth.
Collaboration & Leadership
• • Work closely with Creative, Performance, Data, and Tech teams to translate strategy into execution.
• • Lead cross-functional alignment across business, product, and marketing teams.
• • Provide mentorship to junior strategists, analysts, and planners in the team.
Required Skills & Competencies
• • Proven experience in marketing strategy, transformation, or planning (6-7 years).
• • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, performance media, CRM, automation, and analytics.
• • Ability to connect brand, business, and customer journeys into measurable strategies.
• • Strong financial acumen: experience with budget allocation, ROI frameworks, CAC & LTV models.
• • Analytical thinker with storytelling ability to turn data into compelling insights.
• • Strong stakeholder management: able to interface with C-suite executives and client leadership.
• • Excellent presentation, communication, and project management skills.
Qualifications
• • MBA or Postgraduate degree in Marketing, Strategy, or Business Management.
• • Certifications in Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Martech, or Business Strategy are a plus.
• • Prior experience in consulting, marketing transformation, or strategic planning will be highly valued.
Success Metrics (KPIs for this role)
• • Delivery of quarterly transformation roadmaps (organization + client).
• • % improvement in ROI and campaign efficiency across client accounts.
• • Reduction in CAC and increase in LTV through transformed marketing strategies.
• • Client satisfaction scores and renewal/expansion rate.
• • Adoption of new Martech or process innovations within the organization.
