Olympus Medical Systems India has a wide portfolio of products equipped with the latest innovative and superior technology. Olympus primarily operates in three verticals: Gastrointestinal, Respiratory, and Surgical divisions, and contributes to the medical society with state-of-the-art product categories. These include Video Endoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound, Bronchoscopy, and Endotherapy devices in the Gastrointestinal and Respiratory range, whereas the Surgical division includes high-definition imaging systems and energy products used in Laparoscopy, General Surgery, Gynecology, and Urology.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Salesforce Application techno functional Consultant to lead and drive Salesforce CRM operations for India in a dynamic hybrid environment. This role will serve as the strategic link between local business stakeholders, regional/global IT teams, development partners, solution architects, enterprise architects, salesforce platform team and governance/audit stakeholders.

The individual will champion operational excellence, ensure seamless application performance and delivery, bridge technical and business gaps, and uphold the highest standards of compliance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day CRM operations for the Salesforce platform in India, ensuring maximum uptime, data integrity, and a superior user experience.
• Partner strategically with local business stakeholders to capture requirements, resolve challenges with best-in-class solutions, and drive CRM adoption and continuous improvement.
• Act as the trusted advisor and liaison between business users and technical/development teams (internal and third-party vendors).
• Align and influence regional and global IT teams to ensure cohesive architecture, tool usage, roadmaps, and strategic initiatives.
• Champion compliance by partnering closely with Application Security, Risk & Governance, and Audit teams to uphold organizational standards.
• Own and govern user access controls, security policies, SOPs, vendor contracts, and audit trails within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Provide leadership in designing and supporting integration initiatives, with a focus on SAP platforms (preferably SAP PI) and hands-on expertise with OAuth 2.0 for secure external integrations.
• Drive insights by leveraging Salesforce analytics and integrated platforms like Power BI to deliver robust reports and dashboards.
• Document and evolve application flows, system architecture, and operational processes to ensure long-term continuity and scalability.
• Continuously elevate user experience, application performance, and incident resolution efficiency.

• Solution Architecture

  : Strategically design and deliver solution architectures of moderate complexity, proactively evaluate alternatives, and identify opportunities to optimise cost, performance, and scalability.

• Systems Development Management

  : Drive and oversee systems development projects end-to-end; monitor progress, resolve risks, and ensure delivery meets business objectives and timelines.

• Systems Design & Development

  : Shape robust design specifications that guide high-quality system builds; proactively track progress, resolve issues, and ensure continuous improvement.

• Systems Integration & Build

  : Define, configure, and optimise system components and data mappings; lead cross-IT collaboration on integration plans, builds, and testing to ensure seamless operations.

• Continuity Management

  : Champion the development and testing of business continuity and recovery plans; keep stakeholders informed and ensure documentation is up to date and actionable.

• Application Support

  : Lead and enhance application support processes to ensure swift resolution and high-quality outcomes; drive continuous performance monitoring and reporting.

• System Management

  : Own and execute regular backups/restores, capacity planning, health checks, security scans, system performance tuning, and audits to uphold operational excellence.

• Availability Management

  : Ensure and safeguard that systems consistently meet or exceed performance targets and SLAs, driving accountability across internal and external teams.

Experience and Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory):

• Salesforce Certified Administrator / Advanced Administrator
• Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud Consultant
• ITIL Foundation (preferred for operations context)
• SAP PI familiarity or certification (good to have)
