Job Title: Senior Sales Manager (IT & IT Services)

Department: Sales
Reports To: Director of Sales / VP of Sales
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana or Remote
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, building strong customer relationships, managing key accounts, and mentoring a team of sales professionals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales leadership in IT & IT Services, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities in IT Sector.
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure the team meets or exceeds them.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives.
  • Set performance targets and conduct regular reviews to track progress.
  • Identify training needs and implement professional development plans.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Oversee high-value accounts and participate in complex negotiations.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
  • Monitor sales metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sales campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align on business objectives.
  • Provide customer feedback to relevant departments for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Industry-specific knowledge” IT Sales and Services”.
  • Experience in managing remote or global sales teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
