This includes overseeing pre-treatment, galvanizing, post-treatment, and quality control to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. The role demands strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all operations of the hot dip galvanizing plant. Ensure adherence to galvanizing standards such as IS 2629, IS 4759, ASTM A123, and BS EN ISO 1461. Supervise pre-treatment (degreasing, pickling, fluxing), galvanizing, and finishing processes. Monitor and control zinc bath parameters, temperature, and chemical composition. Optimize zinc consumption and reduce process waste through continuous improvement. Coordinate with fabrication, quality, and dispatch teams to meet production targets. Maintain galvanizing equipment and schedule preventive maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Train and develop the galvanizing team to enhance productivity and quality. Maintain documentation for process control, quality assurance, and audits. Qualifications: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Chemical Engineering. 08–12 years of experience in hot dip galvanizing, preferably in structural steel or tower manufacturing. In-depth knowledge of galvanizing chemistry, process control, and quality standards. Experience in managing teams and galvanizing plant operations.
