Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Design Engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 4- 10 years of design experience specifically in pressure vessels, reactors, heat exchangers, and dryers. This role involves leading the design process for complex equipment, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Lead the design and development of pressure vessels, reactors, heat exchangers, and dryers, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API). Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation using CAD software. Perform engineering calculations, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and material selection, to ensure the integrity and efficiency of designs. Collaborate with cross functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement, to ensure that designs are manufacturable and cost-effective. Responsible for team output & quality of the drawing / design etc. Passionate about product development activities. Project Management: Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all milestones are met within budget and on schedule. Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Review and approve design modifications and improvements based on client feedback and project requirements. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and company quality control processes. Conduct design reviews and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports. Minimum Requirement: Diploma ,BE or MTech in Mechanical Engineering. 4-10 years of design experience in pressure vessels, reactors, heat exchangers, and dryers. Well versed with designing software's such as PV-Lite, Codeware, ANSYS, etc. Command over drafting software such as SolidWorks Auto-CAD, etc. Experience in managing team of 4-5 draftsperson Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar). Strong understanding of engineering principles, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and material selection. Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., ASME, API) related to the design of pressure vessels and related equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and liaise with clients. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software. Certification in relevant industry standards (e.g., ASME Pressure Vessel Certification). Experience in project management and leading design teams. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials commonly used in pressure vessel construction.
Service Engineer Qualification- ITI instrumentation/ Diploma Instrumentation /B.E Instrumetation Experience- 2yr-5yr Work Experience 1.
