Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities: Vendor Development & Management Identify, evaluate, and maintain a reliable vendor database for materials and services. Work Order & Contract Management Prepare, review, and issue work orders and contracts; ensure timely execution and compliance. Purchase Planning & Forecasting Coordinate with project teams to forecast material requirements and plan purchases accordingly. Cost Negotiation & Finalization Negotiate with suppliers for best price, quality, and timely delivery to optimize project costs. Material Procurement Procure construction materials, consumables, and services as per project requirement and timelines. Inventory Coordination Coordinate with stores and site teams to monitor stock levels and avoid excess or shortage. Purchase Order (PO) Management Prepare accurate and timely POs and ensure proper documentation and approvals. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate records of purchase, delivery notes, bills, and ensure compliance with audit requirements. Market Analysis Keep up-to-date with market trends, new materials, and suppliers to support cost-efficient procurement. Internal Coordination Work closely with the project, accounts, and management teams for smooth procurement operations. Requirements: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. Strong knowledge in work order and contract handling . Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP systems preferred. Strong understanding of construction materials and project timelines.
