Role: Senior Product Owner

As Senior Product Owner, you will steward the end-to-end evolution of the Payday platform—including Payroll, HRMS, Compliance, and Employee Self-Service. You’ll leverage deep domain expertise from leading HR-tech innovators (think Keka, Darwinbox, Zoho People, GreytHR, ZingHR) to accelerate our high-velocity roadmap.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategize & Roadmap

  • Define and own the holistic product roadmap across core workflows, compliance, automations, employee experience, and third-party integrations.
  • Discovery & Prioritization

  • Drive customer discovery, problem framing, feature prioritization, and sprint planning across modules.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate hands-on with Engineering, Design, QA, CX, and Executive Leadership to deliver high-quality releases on schedule.
  • Compliance & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor HR/payroll regulations, competitor offerings, and industry best practices to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.
  • Scalable System Design

  • Architect and iterate scalable solutions for leave management, attendance, onboarding/exits, benefits, payroll processing, statutory filings, ESS, reporting, and beyond.
  • Data-Driven Optimization

  • Define and track KPIs for product performance, adoption, and customer feedback to fuel continuous improvement.
  • Product Evangelism

  • Serve as the product’s voice—internally to stakeholders and externally to customers and partners.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Domain Expertise:

    10–12+ years in product management, with a minimum of 5 years focused on HRMS/payroll SaaS platforms.
  • Track Record:

    Proven end-to-end delivery of scalable HR-tech products.
  • Regulatory Acumen:

    Deep understanding of Indian payroll, statutory compliance, and HR operations.
  • Leadership & Communication:

    Exceptional at aligning cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and articulating product vision.
  • User-Obsessed & Data-Driven:

    Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for leveraging data to drive user delight and business outcomes
