About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager on the Log Observability team, you’ll support the lead PM in delivering features that power SolarWinds Papertrail, Loggly, and SolarWinds Logs. You’ll contribute to the product roadmap, shape requirements, and work closely with engineering and other teams to ensure the delivery of log management capabilities that thousands of customers rely on every day.

This role is a strong fit for a Senior PM with technical curiosity, experience in SaaS or observability tools, and a desire to grow into a senior leadership path in a SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the lead PM to define and execute the product roadmap for the Log Observability portfolio.

• Engage with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to validate problems and shape product requirements.

• Collaborate with engineering, UX, and go-to-market teams to deliver, launch, and drive adoption of high-quality features for log collection, processing, search, storage, alerting, and AI-driven analysis.

• Define success metrics, track usage and adoption metrics to understand product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Build expertise in log observability and platform technologies through hands-on engagement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience

• Familiarity with at least one log/telemetry technologies (OTEL, SysLog, Log4Net, FluentBit, Fluentd) or log observability platform (Datadog, Splunk, New Relic)

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, support, and customer-facing teams.

• Eager to learn, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to grow into a more senior PM role.

• Exposure to common developer and operations environments (Linux, Heroku, DigitalOcean, Nginx, Django, Kubernetes, Docker).

• Interest or experience in AI/ML-powered features for text analysis, anomaly detection, or pattern recognition.
