Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

  • Manage and process monthly payroll for 300+ employees through

    Zoho People/Zoho Payroll

    .
  • Ensure accuracy in salary computation, statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, etc.), and reimbursements.
  • Prepare and validate inputs such as attendance, leaves, overtime, incentives, and variable pay.
  • Reconcile payroll-related accounts in coordination with Finance.
  • Generate payslips, reports, and ensure timely salary disbursement.
  • Handle full & final settlements for resigning employees.

Digitisation & HR Systems:

  • Lead implementation and optimization of

    Zoho HR modules

    (People, Payroll, Recruit, etc.).
  • Digitise HR processes such as onboarding, attendance, leave management, and employee records.
  • Support automation of HR reporting and analytics dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with Zoho support as required.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure adherence to statutory compliance and maintain up-to-date employee records.
  • Prepare and submit periodic returns/reports for PF, ESIC, PT, etc.
  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll and HR.

Employee Support & Coordination:

  • Address payroll and HRIS-related employee queries effectively.
  • Coordinate with departments for data collection, validation, and system updates.
  • Work closely with Head HR on HR process improvements and digital initiatives.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of

    Zoho HR Suite

    (Zoho People, Zoho Payroll, Zoho Recruit).
  • Excellent understanding of payroll processes and statutory compliances.
  • Experience in

    HR digital transformation

    or process automation projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and HR reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.


Qualifications:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in HR, Commerce, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in Payroll & HR Operations, in a

    manufacturing industry

    setup.
